When: Saturday April 12th 1:00-5:00
Where: the fabulous Bellevue Rec Center in Los Angeles,CA [ map ]
Cost: $80 per roster up to 8 or $15 per free agent [ Registration Form ]
In accordance with this being the official year of the Mustache the Los Angeles Dodgeball Society is proud to bring to you The 27th Annual Burt Reynolds Dodgeball Open aka Mustaches On Ice. Dodgeball4ever wants to take you back to the elementary school this Spring with some old school dodgeball. That is right, this is an 80's style fun day centered around a dodgeball and concludes with a Miami Vice-esque party(there may even be wine coolers) . Lot's of things have happened since you probably last played including puberty, Zima, and Van Hagar. So, bust out the old spandex, striped tube socks, nut huggers, and hairspray because it is time for some dodgeball. There are two divisions, the Sharkey's Machine being the more advanced division and the Cannonball Run division for the more novice players. You can register as a team or as a free agent(individual) The winning teams get ice cream, pizza, trophy,a mustache comb and sweet Burt Reynolds Memorabilia.
This is a mandatory mustache tournament. All players must wear a mustache. Mustaches will be for sale at the event if you are not man or woman enough to grow one.
Why Burt Reynolds? If you even need to ask this than I suggest you do some serious soul searching( I was going to say my friend (here), but any friend of Burt Reynolds is a friend of mine. Therefore, if you are not a friend of Burt's then you are no friend of mine)
